Both the Cougars Girls Basketball Team and the Boys Hockey Team (Patriots) earned big wins on Monday night in their first round playoff games and both will be back in action tonight. Patriots Hockey Game Saturday – New Time is 6:00 PM

Due to this week’s game cancellations adjustments were made to the hockey schedule.   Instead of playing Kalamazoo United the Patriots will be playing their make-up game from Wednesday versus Holt at 6:00 PM. Patriots Hockey Game Benefits Mason HS Students Battling Cancer

The Patriots hockey team, made up of players from Lansing Catholic, Mason, Charlotte and Lansing Christian, will being playing this Friday for a special cause. Patriot Hockey Moves into Third Place

The Patriots won both their league games last week, defeating Grand Ledge/Fowlerville on Thursday by a score of 5-2 and then beating Dewitt/St. Johns 3-2 on Saturday night. This move the team to 4-2 in the league and 7-4 overall. In Saturday’s game, the Patriots jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the first period.

Capital Area Patriots Win OT Thriller

Coming back on the ice after a two week holiday lay off, the Patriots hockey team was flying vs Dewitt/St.Johns at the Summit. Despite some great scoring opportunities in the first the team was unable to score. Dewitt/St. Johns was able to net one goal off a quick shot on a face-off to lead 1-0
