The scoreboard was full of zeros as neither team could get and advantage. Brianna Babcock was pitching well with great speed and location.

It was still tied 1-1 going into the bottom of the seventh with the Cougars coming to bat for their last chance to win the game without going into extra innings! The Cougars got their first two runnners on with no outs. Laingsburg then loaded the bases with an intentional walk. With the infield pulled in and Maria Perry at the plate, Coach Waite called time-out to talk to his batter to dispense some crucial advice. Whatever the coach said worked as Perry lined a hard single to score the winning run and a spot in the days’ final game.

Bronson is a strong team with a great pitcher and a strong hitting line-up. Bronson scored twice in the first inning to lead 2-0 and never looked back as the won the regional 10-0 over the Cougars.
