The Lansing Catholic cross country season ended on November 5 when the girls team finished as State Runners-Up. The season did not end for Olivia Theis. Olivia competed in the Footlocker Midwest Regional meet in Kenosha Wisconsin on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  By finishing fifth in the regional meet Olivia qualified for the Footlocker National Championship meet in San Diego California on December 10th. Olivia was only the third Lansing area girl ever to qualify for the championship meet in the 38 years that it has been held.

The national meet consisted of 10 qualifiers each from the East, Midwest, South and West regions. Competing against 39 of the best girl cross country runners in the nation, Olivia finished 14th earning All-American honors. She ran a time of 17:55 on a very challenging course. This capped a tremendous season for Olivia in which she won four invitationals, regionals and finished second overall in the State meet. Along the way she set the school record with a best time of 17:20.
