2017 regionals 2

A windy day and challenging conditions did not dampen the resolve of the Cougar golf team at the regional tournament held at Glenbrier Golf Course on Wednesday, May 31.

The Cougars earned a berth to the state finals with a 3rd place finish behind lock-ins Hanover Horton and Lumen Christi.  Ethan O’Farrell (junior) led the team with a 79, followed by Aaron Hamel (sophomore) with an 84 and Peter Kramer (senior) carding an 86 with contributions from Clay Curtin and Michael Bennett.

The team will make a run for the state title June 9 and 10th at Katke Golf Course at Ferris State University in Big Rapids.
